my current read : "when dreams come true" by eric & lesly ludy. ive only read maybe half of this book but its one that you dont want to read too fast for fear of missing something. although this book is more of a story on its subject matter than it is a devotional, its jammed packed with powerful truths. here are a few of the things i forced myself to write down while reading:
* i will not be force fed truth, i will search for and joy in it.
* i will guard and cherish what god has given me.
* i will not disassociate myself spiritually to fit in.
* i will not be a stumbling block, but a stepping stone for those in need.
* i will not conform to society's ideals, i will hold fast to what i believe.
* i will not sacrifice the plan for my life for pleasure.
* god directs even when we cannot see it.
* if god can watch you break his heart and still love you, then restoration in relationships is possible.
* true love is not found while forsaking my first love, christ.
* true love turns your heart, not your head.
